Memberships

Becoming a member is easy! 

You don't need to own a boat to be a member of SBYC! In fact, we have an Ensign club boat that is available for all full members to use as well as two Optimists and a Laser.

We offer two levels of membership.

Summer pool memberships include:

  • A lively club bar with exclusive member pricing

  • In-ground pool with lifeguard supervision, open every day in the summer

  • Waterfront picnic tables and barbecue

  • Social events that include:

    • Commodore’s Ball

    • Blessing of the Fleet

    • July 4th party

    • Adult and children fishing tournaments

  • Discounted hall rentals

In addition, full-memberships include:

  • Boat launch service, available every day in the summer

  • Access to club-owned sailboats

  • Member lockers and showers

  • Winter boat storage, at discounted rates
